Grooby Archives Review

Grooby Archives is a massive site with an overwhelming amount of content. I wouldn't really call it a network per se, but it is a collection of at least four awesome shemale sites produced by none other than Grooby Productions. The content inside the members' area can be found on sites like Shemale Yum, Black T-Girls, Brazilian Transsexuals and Ladyboy-Ladyboy and while you can purchase individual memberships to each of these sites, you won't get the other three unless you join up with GroobyArchives.

One of my biggest beefs with Grooby Archives and the individual sites that they produce is that the members' area homepages are filled with upsells and promotions. Once you get into the updates or models' galleries, then you won't find so many and this is at least a good thing. Despite this drawback, content is neatly organized and although there are only a handful of sorting tools, an advanced search enables you to filter through almost a dozen categories of content types and model features. It makes browsing the content a little easier if you have specific chicks or scenes in mind.

Updates are added two to three times a month, but typically these include several new films and photosets. It's no wonder this is a massive collection of shemale content. As far as I can tell, there are 4491 updates listed. There are also model pages and each hottie tends to have more than one set of photos and more than one video. Using the search features, I find that there are 451 hardcore and 3851 solo scenes. There are also other categories like gonzo and there are fetishes like school girls and other uniforms, but I had a hard time figuring out if these were separate content areas or whether the hardcore action was repeated in the school girl category, for example. In any case, it doesn't look like you end up getting the promised 30,000-plus movies, but it's still a lot of shemale action.

Quality is very good, at least where the newest updates are concerned. Photos are 1440x960 and can be viewed in slideshows and downloaded in .zips. I was a little surprised that the recent videos weren't offered in HD MP4 since this is the standard format on some of the individual sites. On the other hand, it makes sense since the GroobyArchives membership isn't as pricey as the individual site memberships. What you end up getting are mostly high and HD WMV (3050kbps, 1280x720) downloads and there is an MP4 (1580kbps, 640x360) mobile options for each film, as well. However, as you dip further back into the archive you will come across .avi and .mpeg files, as well as lower qualities.

Final Verdict

Grooby Archives is a huge site with thousands of shemales and solo and hardcore films. However, I didn't happen to see the overwhelming amounts inside the site that were promised on the tour page. Also, many of the films only have HD WMV, which may be a factor for some potential members. The good news is that the content is at least good quality even if not best quality and with over a dozen updates every month, the site is growing to meet their promised amount, at least. What makes Grooby Archives a good bet is that there are white, black, Latina and Asian t-girls, so basically there are babes for ever taste and desire. Also, you end up getting content from four of Grooby's best shemale sites rather than just content from one site and this, combined with a very good membership price, might just seal the deal for shemale fans.
